Abstract

Defra is one of the key UK government departments in terms of climate policy, being responsible for domestic adaptation activities mandated by the Climate Change Act. The Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement (CAPE) project is working to strengthen and expand engagement between universities and public policy. This session will explore some of the key needs of climate teams within Defra and how the evidence community can respond to support post-COP needs.
